A Colorado Christmas - The Networking Shoot
It is finally beginning to feel like Christmastime in Colorado! Even though I spend Christmas with my family in Chicago every year, I love to get in the holiday spirit right after Thanksgiving passes.
Recently, I had a cozy night in with some amazing local denver bloggers and photographer Katie to kick off the holiday season and to highlight a couple great Colorado companies. If you are in need of a last minute gift or looking for some inspiration for a holiday party here are some great ideas!
Cheese and Provisions - I think the secret to any great wine night is an amazing cheese board! Cheese and Provisions, located in the highlands or specifically sunnyside, has the most amazing selection! Not only are they delicious, but they are massive, definitely a must have for any holiday party.
Pearl Street Lights - Candles make the perfect holiday gift, and these ones are extra special because they are from the local company Pearl Street Lights. They are hand poured, soy wax and even make a crackling/fire sound when you light them.
Revo Sunglasses - I have heard great things about Revo sunglasses, but have never tried them. This was my first time testing them out, and I have to say they live up to the great reputation! I fell in love with the ski goggles though; they are such great quality and would make a great Christmas pressie for any skier or snowboarder.
Whiskey Barrel Coffee - Are you guys coffee divas like me? I love to try new coffees when I can so was excited to test out this Colorado coffee. I am not a fan of whiskey, but did like it a lot better in a coffee flavor. I tried the Moonshine flavor, which had a rich, smokey taste. For only $20 a bag, they make a great gift for family or even co-workers.
Since I started blogging in February, I have been so fortunate to meet some amazing Denver bloggers and photographers. Katie, from Katie Leigh Hutt Photography, was the talented photographer that organized our holiday party. Alex, Hannah and Danielle were the other ladies joining me for a fun girls night.
For my outfit details, I paired this amazing gold and black skirt from Revolve, with a black top I have had for years and a fun faux fur vest. It has been so warm in Denver recently so I decided to ditch the tights, but this outfit would look great with tights and pumps, or even over the knee boots as well.
Happy Holidays and Cheers! XO, B
